Island of BURTON (DE008)

Greetings to all,

Team Sea Spray, of the Delmarva Island Hoppers, Will embark on a most

righteous DX-perdition to the Island of BURTON (DE008) located across the vast

waters of Indian River Bay on Saturday Nov. 7th 2009 (rain date Sun. the 8th)

To attempt to Qualify this Island(operate ham radios from island and get at least 25 QSO's)

The Good ship Sea spray will attempt to arrive around 09:00 AM Local, hopefully (if the

clouds part and the RF Gods smile upon us) we will be operating on 20 meters

around, 14.250 and 40 meters near, 7.250 by 10:00AM. The crew for this adventure

will be : Jerry KB3NZJ , Joe W3TL ,and Jamie KB3QLK, who will be our QSL manager

yes luca i work 40 cw and ssb and 20 cw and ssb also 1.9 mhz at 8pm eastern time everynight hope to work you soon wg3j is my new call now for 1 year but kf3ba old call so kept it for email my part of the group will be traveling 2 hours drive to northern delaware island reddy island and will use my call wg3j on same day as jamie and his group go to south island we will be on 40 meters 7.175 up or down 10 khz and 20 meters 14..260 up or down 10 or more as neccessary for band conditions we will be daytime only . so luca and will talk soon i hope tell all the guys we will have special qsl card for event and next year more islands in springtime
