After a successful IARU-WRTC Style WWYC competition last year (http://www.wwyc.net/events/iaru2003/) we decided to go a step further and organize something even more spectacular. Summer camp was first idea that came to our mind, then the hamfest, then the contest. Finnaly we mixed everything up and decided to call it WWYC meeting.
Basic idea of this meeting is to meet our dear ham-contest friends, have fun, exchange experiences and thoughts and have more fun. We will have some nice presentations, some nice games and all that in the week of IOTA contest that is very popular out here in Croatia. Some of the visitors might experience working IOTA contest from some Croatian island depending on the availability and need for operators.
The location of this meeting will be town Pazin. Hometown of 9A7P club which will greatly support this event as organizer under the leading role of few WWYC members from that Club. Read more about this place and how to reach us on the location page.
This event is NOT limited to WWYC members only. Everyone that feels this interesting and would like to come here is welcome. Our starting goal is to guest about 30 foreign hams from about 10 countries and numerous local hams. The number of interested people is already big and we can count on having a great event.
